Thracia is also the only game in the series to have generic dancers as enemies. However, the thief Lara from Thracia 776 can become one through a special conversation. Usually, Dancer is a basic class and cannot be promoted. Dancers can typically only refresh a single adjacent unit, but they can refresh every adjacent unit in Fire Emblem: Genealogy of the Holy War. The refreshing abilities of the dancer class varies somewhat from title to title. Dancers possess little strength, but good speed. Dancers can wield swords in the Jugdral and Archanea titles and every weapon-including magic in Three Houses in other games where they are present, they cannot fight. The primary function of a dancer is to refresh an ally, so that unit can perform another action in the same turn.
